Tata Aria

Tata has finally launched the much awaited ARIA on Monday, 11th Oct 2010. This is not an SUV or a Sedan but a Crossover. Now we, Indians can also be proud that a car made in India is equivalent to the cars manufactured abroad. This is the word, by the much speculated and hyped Aria and the price band it is launched.

But this is true to know that loads of features are loaded to Aria. ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) with EBD (Electronic Brake force Distribution), 6 airbags, ESP (Electronic Stability Program) and ATC (Automatic Traction Control), all wheel disc brakes etc... are attractive. Tatas have also used the CAN (Controller Area Network) technology in this new Aria. This technology is used by most of the US and European manufacturers, it links all the electronic systems.

Tata had also added DMF(Dual Mass Flywheel) technology to Aria. Dual Mass Flywheel reduces the torsional vibrations of the engine. Dual Mass Flywheel technology is also new to Indian manufacturers. So the catch would be the costly maintenance factor for the clutch kit

Lets wait and see how Aria does in the Indian Terrain :)
